Recent announcements highlight the potential growth in electricity demand driven by datacenter capacity expansions, and in the U.S., our findings show that datacenters could represent about half of the power demand growth through 2026. We expect demand to accelerate beyond 2026 as the grid tries to catch up to a large backlog of projects, and also expect other regions to benefit.
