#65 - Becca Lunnon on Hiking the 481 Most Significant Peaks in Tasmania

    08/04/2026 | 1 h 13 min
In this episode of The Life Outside Podcast, Cam chats with Becca Lunnon. Becca is the writer behind the Rock Monkey Adventures, one of the fundamental Tasmanian bushwalking blogs and resources. She wasn’t even a hiker when she moved to Tasmania in 2012, but over the years she’s built an extraordinary life around bushwalking, and particularly remote, off-trail adventures. Becca became the 26th person to complete the Tasmanian Abels in 2023, and more recently became the first woman to complete the Hobart Walking Club peak baggers list, 481 significant peaks across the state. We chat all things Tasmanian bushwalking, including near-death experiences, why off-track walking is so special, and Becca shares some of her favourite hidden gems from her almost 15 years of adventures in Tassie.

    18/03/2026 | 1 h 33 min
In this episode of The Life Outside Podcast, Cam chats with Colin Konemann. After setting foot on the Bibbulmun Track on a whim a couple of years ago, Colin fell in love with long-distance hiking. At 69 years old, he walked Te Araroa in New Zealand, and this year, at 70, he’s journeying onto the Pacific Crest Trail for his longest hike yet.
