After betrayal, your brain is trying to protect you from ever being blindsided again. That can turn thoughtful decision-making into endless analysis, freezing, catastrophizing, and searching for guarantees that do not exist.

Recorded live during the second session of the New Revelations Festival, this Wisdom Talk by David Hoffmeister invites listeners into a profound exploration of spiritual awakening. 

David explores how our minds are often split by the ego's illusions, leading us to seek lasting happiness in the temporary forms and relationships of the physical world. He explains that true, consistent joy can only be discovered by turning inward and accessing our "source code"—the practice of deep forgiveness, which reminds us that this world is a projection and our true identity is spiritual. By unplugging from our false human identities, grievances, and defense mechanisms, we can experience the Kingdom of Heaven that already exists within us.

The conversation also delves into the liberating practice of "undoing the doer". Rather than fighting the ego or trying to personally manage our own salvation, David suggests handing over the strings of our lives to the Spirit, allowing divine intuition to guide our actions.
