AI agents without context: why they fail - with Nabila Moumen, Exec On AI, Hubspot
06/11/2026 | 1 h 7 minMost companies have adopted artificial intelligence. Very few are getting real business results from it.
In this episode of the Marketing Reset series, Nabila Moumen, founder of the media platform Exec On AI and at HubSpot since 2019, shares what she hears from C-level leaders around the world.

For Nabila, buying AI is the easy part. What's missing are the decisions leaders make before deploying anything: which business problem to solve, what context to give AI agents, and what to actually do with the time saved. Without that context (customer intent, history, how your company wins deals), artificial intelligence produces generic content.
Fifteen years after co-authoring a book on e-reputation, she also explains how GEO changes the game for brands: AI engines now decide which brands are understood and considered a good choice, beyond simple visibility.
She shares her three levers for AI impact (start from the business outcome, invest in people and processes, measure impact), how she uses generative AI to prepare her interviews, and why AI success is above all a leadership question.
An episode for marketing leaders and executives who want to move from artificial intelligence adoption to measurable results.

- pourquoi n'automatiser avec l'intelligence artificielle que ce qui a déjà fait ses preuves ;
- comment mesurer le ROI d'un projet d'IA agentique, tâche par tâche ;
- ce que le GEO et les AI Overviews changent pour le SEO ;
- pourquoi la distribution compte autant que la production ;
- le « marketing brain » : entraîner une IA générative sur sa façon de penser et d'écrire ;

1:01:35 Entrepreneuses : se payer, oser demander- If your customer delegates their next purchase to an AI tomorrow, will your brand still be recommended? "AI agents aren't just another marketing channel: they're becoming a new decision-making layer between brands and customers" explains Laetitia Lamari, co-founder of Le Café de l'e-commerce.
We talk about the shift from an attention economy to a recommendation economy, why AI is turning into an intermediary that consumers may end up trusting more than brands themselves, and what founders and marketing leaders stand to lose — and gain — by handing over some of that control.
Laetitia also shares her own AI toolstack (ChatGPT, Perplexity, NotebookLM, Gen Spark), the book that shaped how she thinks about AI and power, and a very human story about the day her bank's AI made a costly mistake — and got fired for it.
Laetitia Lamari will be speaking live at Marketing Reset on December 2nd in Paris, with the session "Your Next Customer Won't Be Human: How AI Agents Are Rewriting Commerce."
A conversation for anyone building AI marketing strategy in commerce and retail right now.

According to Ksenia Votinova-Arnaud, who has coached over 1,000 executives at INSEAD (including those from Google, AWS, SAP and Salesforce), resilience comes down to four pillars: Why, Who, What, How. Her "Weatherproof Business Method" argues AI only helps marketers who already know their business deeply — and that no single AI model should become the sole keeper of your strategic context.
