There are some cases that, while they don’t necessarily scream true crime, are historic and deserve a moment to be spoken about. On April 9th 1483 a man died from a sudden illness. Triggering a domino effect that would cost his children their lives.

April 7th: Police Launch Public Appeal for Stephanie Scott (2015)

Stranger danger is a concept, albeit a controversial one, taught to children. It’s not one that many adults take the time to consider. On April 7th 2015 police launched a public appeal for a missing woman. A victim who came into contact with a stranger and was immediately placed in a deadly amount of danger.

April 6th: Ward Weaver Born (1963)

As children, we want to believe the adults in our orbit are safe. On April 6th 1963 a man was born who would prove to two young girls that this is not at all the case.

There are some deaths so infamous they have people scrambling to understand and comprehend. And, with that, comes conspiracy theories. On April 5th 1994 a true rock star lost his life in a way that many struggled to comprehend. And, because of that, some believed his death had to be murder instead of suicide.
