Brig. G.S.Sisodia
During the 26/11 anti-terrorism operation, Brigadier, GS Sisodia led successful commando operations in The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and Hotel Trident. He was pivotal in extracting information by interrogating terrorist Kasab. A decorated soldier renowned for being a security professional says out loud' jab desh ki baat ho to sipahi vaqt nahi lagate hai!' Sub Maj & Hony Capt Bana Singh
In conversation with RJ Sarang, Captain Bana Singh narrates the battle of his life where he recaptured the impregnable glacier fortress of Quaid post and retaliated to the attack on the recon patrol. Singh personally threw grenades into the enemy bunker before closing the door, killing the six Pakistani soldiers holed up inside and clearing the post of all infiltrators. In a fitting tribute to the heroic coup through which India had won back the post, it was later renamed Bana Top in his honour, by which it is known till today. Our veterans fight in unforgiving battlegrounds, it is always a do-or-die mission. For the conspicuous courage of our ex-servicemen, we are contributing to The Armed Forces Flag Day Fund at affdf.gov.inSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
‘We For Veterans’ is an ode to our Veterans (ex-servicemen) that will serve as reminder of the valour and sacrifice of our brave hearts. On the annual Armed forces Flag Day on the 7th of December, India salutes them for their courage and victories. Through this podcast, we wish to urge our listeners to come forward and generously donate towards this fund for their welfare. Let us show our gratitude. Jai Hind!
