A who's who of wealthy Berkshire Bay elites have all gathered at Rosemary Berkshire's massive, lavish estate for the engagement party of Lizzy Berkshire, Rosemary's often-forgotten daughter. Putting her interrogation skills into high gear she begins questioning the suspects while sending Stacey on a recon mission to snoop for the missing envelope. Will they solve the crime before the Mounties arrive, or will someone get away with cold-blooded murder?

As everyone reacts to the deceased, the Mounties are called for help. To settle their nerves before retiring for the night, the group has a drink while Dorinda pieces together clues, which begin to spell ‘murder’. But with so many unwitting suspects to investigate, she may have to do further digging… in places she’d much rather not.

When Dorinda’s sister-in-law’s unexpected divorce brings her and Stacey up to Quebec to collect old family belongings, they barely have time to reconnect before a suspicious group of skiers (uh-hem “high-end adventurers”) show up at the door, lost and cold in the frigid evening air.
