Bonus: Revisiting The Autopsy Evidence with Doug Horne
If you’ve studied the JFK Assassination for any period of time, you surely know Doug Horne. He served on the staff of the Assassination Records Review Board for the final 3 years of its 4 year lifespan, from August of 1995 through September of 1998. He was hired as a Senior Analyst on the Military Records Team, and was later promoted to head that team. In that role, Doug obtained and declassified military records related to Cuba and Vietnam policy, and worked extensively in the medical evidence arena. He also served as the ARRB’s point man on issues related to the Zapruder film. We have the tenacity of Doug Horne to thank for many of the key declassifications in this case. In this episode, we’ll hear what Doug Horne has learned from his many years of up close and extensive study of the medical evidence in the assassination of President Kennedy.Twitter - https://twitter.com/solvingjfk Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/solvingjfk Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/solvingjfkpodcast Tik Tok - https://www.tiktok.com/@solvingjfk Transcripts and Sources - https://www.solvingjfkpodcast.comPatreon.com/SolvingJFKOur Sponsors:* Check out Mood and use my code JFK for a great deal: https://mood.com* Check out Progressive: https://www.progressive.comAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Ep 70: LBJ (Part 1)
Over the next several episodes, we’ll begin the gargantuan task of trying to thoughtfully determine whether Johnson played a role in the president’s murder. While this series is not a deep biography on Lyndon Johnson, we have to provide some context for LBJ the man, so that we can understand where he came from and the patterns of behavior he displayed. In this episode, we explore the Johnson’s life before the Senate. How did LBJ get started in politics? What was his relationship like with Brown and Root? And did Lyndon Johnson really steal a US Senate Seat in the 1948 election? Solving JFK examines each issue in the JFK Assassination by looking at the arguments from both those who believe Oswald acted alone and those who believe there was a conspiracy to kill president Kennedy. Host Matt Crumpton analyzes each tree in the forest and then zooms out to look at the big picture. Objective truth is the paramount goal of the podcast, with every factual proposition cited. In season one, we look at whether the Warren Report got it right that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone assassin, and if not, what the open questions are that still need to be resolved.
