Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has apologized for the Switch 2 price increase, while also saying the new pricing does not fully cover all cost increases. At the same time, Nintendo says it is preparing a “robust software lineup” to strengthen the value of the system.

With Splatoon Raiders, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Star Fox, and rumors of a Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, the Switch 2 lineup is starting to take shape. The real question is whether Nintendo has enough coming to keep momentum strong after the price increase.
