On this episode of the Christopher Scott Talk Show Podcast: Was the Obama book deal a payoff? I have some numbers to share with you on this. A little basic math that hopefully anybody can understand and you can decide if this was a payoff or a legitimate book deal. Personally I think these books deals represent corruption that's going on right in plain view. These dirty crooks we elect are lining their pockets while the drive the country into bankruptcy. You won't have to worry about Trump taking a book deal. For one he doesn't need the money. $70M is a pittance for him. And the second reason is that he already knows how to write and sell his own best selling book without stopping to the level of corruption to get it. Whatever you want to say about Trump he knows how to make a buck on the open market not with some back room deal where he sells his soul and sells out the American people. On this episode of the Christopher Scott Talk Show Podcast: Whatever happened to the fine art of bare fisted brawls? When I was a kid it was pretty normal for boys to get in playground fights. I say normal not that it was accepted it just happened a lot and I don’t remember it being a particularly big deal at least not the way that is today. Boys being boys I guess you'd say. Today they call it toxic masculinity. But there was a premise or a code I guess you'd say. Fights needed to be fair for one but they also weren't just random attacks. It was a way to settle the score, to right a wrong. I've seen and participated in more fights than I can remember. Not that that's a good thing. I don't know why. Maybe because I grew up in a tough neighborhood. Then I joined the Marine Corps where violence is part of the culture. I can tell you fighting isn't for everyone. Was it for me? I don't know I never really thought about it I just kind of got caught up in it. The reason I bring all this up is for one some of these stories are pretty entertaining. But the other reason is that nobody talks about it. When is it acceptable to fight. I'm not talking about legalities here. I'm talking about moral responsibility. So hit the play button!

The media reported it as a brawl at the Whitehouse. It was more like a 30 seconds lovers quarrel. Either way is professionalism dead and have people forgotten how to act? Maybe people are just plain going crazy. 400,000 people planning to raid area 51. Yeah that sounds like a great idea. Both of those stories I blame in social media and the rage culture we now live in. Times have changed that’s for sure and one thing that’s changed is the extreme level of surveillance going on today. This story keeps coming up and I want to talk it about today because the bottom line is that if this is harmless. If there’s nothing really to it. That all these machines are listening and tracking every little thing we do, if it doesn’t matter why are they doing it? It’s something people should be ware of. The tech companies are required to disclose much but I’m going to tell you about and how that information is being used. The other thing I want to talk about isn’t really a huge story in itself but I think it points to something much larger that is huge. The story is a transgender priest has left the church to become a woman. Could he come back as a nun? That’s not really my question. My question is this, has the church given up peity for pop culture and if so what does that mean to the morality of the country and the world? That’s my questions for today: Have people forgotten how to act?Are we witnessing a wide spread mental health crisis created by social media making people crazy?Why isn’t data collection and surveillance by tech companies regulated?And, has the church given up piety for pop culture and what does that mean for morality as we know it?
