Leigh Turner diplomacy and writing

What travel tips can you learn from diplomats? Here are three, including: try to travel overland where possible; see things yourself; and meet and exchange views with as many people as possible. Did it work for me, in the UK, France, Germany, Austria and Russia? You decide.
