This time Tony and Laurie welcome back Chris Fisher, who directed episode 401 (“Valles Marineris”) and is an executive producer and the show’s producing director, based in Toronto. We talk extensively about the challenges and nuances of the series premiere and jump into discussing the rest of the season, season 5, and his upcoming book about virtual production.- Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is back and so are Anthony and Laurie! They review the season 4 premiere, “Valles Marineris,” which is a good old-fashioned Star Trek story with new character arcs beginning and impressive visual effects. Come back tomorrow for their interview with SNW producing director Chris Fisher to talk about his work on the season premiere and the entire series, as well as his upcoming book A Producer’s Guide to Virtual Production, which comes out next month.
