Fujikina 2026 is October 16-18 in New York City. In this Bryan Minear interview, we cover the Fujikina event, his favorite Fujifilm lenses, infrared, post-production, and the creative challenges he is honest enough to talk about.

Bryan has been an official Fujifilm X-Photographer for years, and in 2024 he joined the Fujifilm US marketing team. That gives him a rare view of the brand from both sides. We talk about what Fujikina actually is (a photography festival, not a trade show), what a first-timer should do with a $10 ticket, and why the International Center of Photography, Magnum Photos, World Press Photo, and FotoFest are all part of it.

Then we get into the photography. The X100 that changed his career. Why he sold his 50-140 for the 70-300. His one tip for the GF 500mm f/5.6. Where he draws the line on AI. And the one photograph he wants his kids to have forty years from now.
