This is a significant moment in SCREAM history, considering the roots of the franchise are intertwined with Sidney's relationship with her mother's past. In addition, Ryan covers the (ridiculous) social media chatter about Courteney Cox's Instagram "like" from Friday 5/8/26 that was then removed.

Melissa Barrera crashes out! In this emergency episode, Ryan covers Melissa Barrera's recent interview with Variety where she promoted conspiracy theories about Paramount and Spyglass "lying" and fabricated the box office success for Scream 7, as well as referring to her co-stars (Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy, Mason Gooding) as "scabs." First, Ryan reads the direct quotes from Variety and then is joined by Anthony to reflect on Melissa's unprofessional statements and conspiracy theories.
