Welcome back, Sarangees! We are SO excited about Episode 14 of The Glory, because we're joined by the incredible Naomi Ko, an award-winning filmmaker, writer, comedian, and co-host of the Asians in Baseball podcast. Naomi grew up in Minnesota, and K-dramas were her connection to her heritage.  She gets into her all-time favorite dramas and sitcoms with us. We also dig into what "prestige" K-drama even means these days, and how Netflix and the big streamers are reshaping the local K-drama industry.

Then, we recap. And y'all…this one is STACKED.

Yeon-jin and the Detective Ajusshi spiral into full panic mode the second they clock that Myeong-oh's body has been found. Meanwhile, after that devastating apartment fire, Dong-eun FINALLY gets her mother locked away in a psych ward. Yeon-jin, ever the manipulator, works Jae-joon AGAIN, convincing him he's the only one left who can save her and Ye-sol (eyeroll). Jae-joon then turns around and blackmails Do-young into being Yeon-jin's alibi for the night of Myeong-oh's murder. And Yeon-jin's mom? She orchestrates an "accidental" hit-and-run with her mudang/shaman and the detective,  killing Hyun-nam's husband in the process.

We close on a shaman ritual, where Yeon-jin watches her mudang get possessed by So-hee's spirit,  and in a flashback, we FINALLY learn how and why Yeon-jin killed her.

Sarangees! We're three episodes from the finale, and Episode 13 might be the biggest one yet. It builds and builds, and ends with an actual fire.

We pick up in the aftermath of Dong-eun's public takedown of Sa-ra and Yeon-jin, and the fallout comes fast. Yeon-jin stays defiant and lies straight to Do-young's lawyers, while Sa-ra, all fury and no strategy, screams her way into a jail cell.

Hye-jeong finally plays the secret Myeong-oh recording for Jae-joon, and his response, weirdly, is a marriage proposal. Yeon-jin's mom, still being tailed by Hyun-nam's husband, panics and runs to her shaman for help. Yeo-jeong makes his next move, and it's a big one: he applies for a job at the prison holding his father's murderer.

The walls keep closing in on Yeon-jin. A spicy confrontation with Hye-jeong bleeds into an even worse one with the police officer, who has quietly decided to blackmail her, and casually reveals that Myeong-oh's body has NOT actually been buried.

And then, the grand finale. Dong-eun squares off with her psycho mom, and her mom responds by torching the apartment.

Hello Sarangees! We're back with episode 13 of The Glory, and OMG, it's getting SOOOO GOOOD. Yeon-jin continues to spiral as she discovers that Dr. Yeo-jeong is the guy working with Dong-eun. Her mom is freaking out over terrifying texts from Hyun-nam's husband. Mr. Bob turns out to be a real big creep, and gets beaten to a pulp by Jae-joon. Jae-joon, then, gets beaten to a pulp by Do-young, who is absolutely enraged (and very sexy) over the fact that Jae-joon showed up at Ye-sol's school acting like he's her father. Do-young FINALLY blows up at Yeon-jin, and it's GREAT.

Dong-eun's mom betrays her AGAIN, leading to one of the most emotional moments of the episode. Dong-eun, while crying her eyes out, gets approached by a crazy-looking Jae-joon, and Yeo-jeong comes to save the day. She doesn't cry for long, though, because the next day, she serves up the SWEETEST revenge on Sa-ra and Yeon-jin. This episode is NUTS, y'all.

Sarangees! Things are HEATING UP with Episode 11 of The Glory, and it did NOT disappoint. We open with the aftermath of Myeong-oh's murder, and see how Yeon-jin covered her tracks. 

Then Do-young tells Dong-eun he's not willing to leave Yeon-jin even after learning about all she’s done. Meanwhile, Yeon-jin is SPIRALING after finding out Do-young was emotionally cheating on her. Sun-a leaves for America and  Hyun-nam is brutally beaten by her husband. It's a HEAVY one. 

Jae-joon and Hye-jeong come across evidence tied to Myeong-oh's murder, and Yeon-jin's mom and her detective friend are starting to worry their misdeeds are catching up with them. The walls are CLOSING IN. The episode ends with Dong-eun confronting Yeo-jeong about why he didn't tell her that he knew about Myeong-oh.

Hello Sarangees!! We're BACK with another action-packed, jaw-dropping episode of The Glory, and Episode 10 does NOT hold back. We open with Do-young visiting Siesta and seeing the dressing room where Yeon-jin and Jae-joon met for their trysts. Yikes. Then Yeon-jin dials up her attacks on Dong-eun. She threatens Hyun-nam into working for her AND tracks down Dong-eun's mother to convince her to find Dong-eun and ruin her life. Dong-eun is STUNNED as her mother shows up and wreaks havoc at her school, reminding her that blood is thicker than water. The audacity!! 

Meanwhile, Dong-eun and Yeo-jeong lure Hye-jeong into bringing Yeon-jin to Yeo-jeong's clinic, where Hye-jeong lets it slip that Dong-eun's been playing go with Do-young. Then we find out Yeo-jeong was visited by the police, because he was the LAST person who spoke to Myeong-oh before he disappeared. And finally... Yeon-jin comes in for treatment at Yeo-jeong's clinic, and while she's under anesthesia, we FINALLY see what happened between her and Myeong-oh the night he was attacked!!

Get ready, y'all. It's nuts.
