The 40k Lorecast

On Today’s cast we conclude our coverage of the Siege of Vraks, with the handing over of the conflict to the Ordo Malleus and the arrival of the Grey Knights. Then we follow Inquisitor Rex on his attempts to cleanse the surface of Vraks outside of the citadel of all Chaos forces.  From there we move onto the final siege of Vraks with the challenges therein from the citadel. The rise of Zhufor and his unifying of the defenders (sort of) to killing the imperial invaders. But we close out on the many layers of the “final” assault on Vraks. They use the word final but it lasts like 3 chapters, just saying.

On Today’s cast we continue our coverage of the Siege of Vraks, with the arrival of the chaos fleets to the system and the not so great (for the imperium) naval battle that commences. Which is then followed by a not so great experience for the ground forces once a bunch of chaos marines show up. But then we get to the imperium’s response so things get a little better, and we close with an epic kickassery of Space Marine action!

On Today’s cast we begin our coverage of the Siege of Vraks, on of the epic wars of 40k History. Starting with the origins and oddly high importance of the planet. Then the rise of Cardinal Xaphan that leads to the revolt of Vraks. Then we get to the fun part the invasion of Vraks by the 88th siege company (the Death Korps of Krieg). We then cover the incredible woodchipper of death that took place as they spent the first two years just trying to take the first layer of defense. Only to then discover that chaos had infiltrated the planet, namely Alpha legion, which leads to the beginning of the expansion of the conflict, with the arrival of the Dark Angels. We then close out with the 9th year of the war, where the 88th finally takes the 2nd line, moving closer to their final objective, just as the chaos sorcerers begin their move.

On today’s cast we jump back into the Death Korps of Krieg. We start where we should with the revolution on Kreig, how it started, how Jurten turned the tide to make it a more “even” battle” and how he and his loyalists eventually won out. We then move out on to cover the Kreig themselves. From the lowly Guardsman, to the Grenadier, the Quartermaster, Commissar, and (heavy sigh) the mounted units.
