As we approach the ending of this podcast celebrating the T.V. series Little House on the Prairie, it is time to share my all time top Ten favorite episodes. As an extra bonus, I'm also going to include my list of the 3 worst episodes in the series. Are your favorites my favorites too? Do we agree on which episodes deserve to be skipped, ignored, forgotten? Why has the series been so Awesome?

A warmer than usual holiday season has arrived in the Walnut Grove area and contrary to popular belief it hasn't made things easier. First, while Christmas shopping in Mankato with her parents, Toddler Rose is kidnapped by a grief stricken new mom. The search for her leaves the Carters, back in Walnut Grove, with zero presents to exchange come Christmas Eve. This news also leads to Lil Bro' Jason starting a Christmas Tree business to try and raise funds to get his mom a gift. According to Charles's Voice over the year is 1896, so is Rose a 10 year old toddler? Why wasn't Willie in this legacy movie AT ALL? What sort of Divine Intervention can we anticipate in this movie?

Remember the episode when they played Baseball and there was a giant brawl at the end? Or the time Nellie ruined a perfectly good wig or the time Colonel Sanders came to Walnut Grove? It's easy to forget, at its core, Little House on the Prairie is about the Ingalls family. And with over 200 episodes it's safe to say not all of them are necessary or contribute to the ongoing story of this Pioneer family. Join me in this special edition episode as I share my thoughts and feelings (after reviewing all my notes from making this podcast series) of what an ideal viewing of the series would be. From the Ingalls piling into their family wagon in Wisconsin to Laura and her Monthly Crew at the Wilder Boarding House, Little House on the Prairie has a bit off filler we can trim off.

After a trip to check out universities and starting the admissions process to enroll into medical school, Albert and Charles end up in Walnut Grove. Where, once again, the area is having to work through another economic crisis. This visit home is great if it wasn't for these pesky nose bleeds that have started to become more frequent in Albert's life. However, the nose bleeds are an indication that something wicked this way comes for Albert and nothing will be able to help him. This is not the the visit home anyone expected. When is Miss Etta Plum’s wedding date? Do the writers ever remember anyone’s correct name? How reliable is Laura as a narrator?
