This week we wrap up Folk Horror Summer! We talk themes, favorites, and what’s up next for the podcast.

As our final entry into Folk Horror Summer we are playing a folk horror game called The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow. This very fun point and click, from Cloak & Dagger and Wadjet Eye was the perfect culmination, with similarities to all of the movies we watched this summer.

This week is our last movie of Folk Horror Summer, The Devil’s Bath, and it really brought us full circle, touching on many of the themes of our previous movies.

This week we are covering Netflix’s 2017 movie the Ritual. We talk about its interesting monster and find out what monster we are at the end.

This week we are getting into the real horror side of Folk Horror Summer with Ari Aster’s Hereditary. With some amazing acting, exceptional directing and truly terrifying scares we found a lot to dig into with this one.
