We live in A Lawless Time; a new set is here, and a new day dawns.  Old staple cards are gone... old, busted leaders are gone... what now?  The boys gather to discuss their pre-release experiences as well as talk about what they've been trying to cook in the deck lab.  Wes is asked for his opinion on some recent Twin Suns dwama, and some overarching deck design concepts of the format are explored.

With Ian out sick - get well soon! - Wes and Trey join forces to try and combat some of the negativity that's been floating around the community lately (some of it right here on this show!).   At least, that was the plan until Galactic Championship tickets went on sale earlier this week.  Additionally, spoiler season is officially over and it's time to review the legendary cards coming in A Lawless Time; are they good, playable, or coasters?

As PQ season rolls onward, the boys convene to discuss Trey's homework assignment from the last episode: re-imagining the iconic double-aspect event cards that are close to rotating out in a few weeks.  Rotation itself is also on the table for discussion - including how it might be improved should FFG decide to change course down the road - as well as some discussion of local stores dropping the game.  Is this also happening in your area?  Let us know at [email protected].
