- The Champions League is back and it’s time for a Euro Show preview.
Pol Ballus is back on the pod alongside James Richardson, James Horncastle and Tom Williams as Real Madrid go into Matchweek 1 of the Champions League having lost for the first time since the return of Jose Mourinho. Troy Parrott scores the only goal for Real Betis to leave Barcelona three points clear at the top of La Liga.

PSG take on Yaya Toure’s Slovan Bratislava, who’ll hope to continue the Parisians’ domestic misery after Monaco win 2-1 at the Parc des Princes.
In Germany, Bayern Munich fail to score in a competitive game for the first time in 59 matches. And what’s going on with Julian Alvarez at Atletico Madrid? They’ve got a trip to Anfield next.

Andoni Iraola earned his first win as Liverpool manager against Ipswich on Friday night. Alexander Isak in the goals again for the Reds.
And Crystal Palace get their first win under Pierre Sage at Craven Cottage but it’s three defeats out of three for new Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa.

A legend at Man Utd and Newcastle, only four players have scored more Premier League goals than his 187, but is he in some ways the forgotten striker?
Born in Nottinghamshire, his Jamaican born father was a coal miner who wanted Andy to play cricket. He got his break at Bristol City before Newcastle snapped him up, where he formed a deadly partnership with Peter Beardsley amid a record-breaking debut Premier League campaign.
Ferguson then signed him and he enjoyed a hugely succesful period at Man Utd alongside his striker partner Dwight Yorke. He scored great goals and important goals, helping Man Utd to win the treble in 99.
But is is he still underappreciated?
