After the Avengers: Doomsday CinemaCon major announcement, Greg Alba & Coy Jandreau jump into three more big genre reveals: the new Spider-Noir “Villains” teaser, the long-awaited Coyote vs. Acme trailer, and the first look at Evil Dead Burn. Marvel’s CinemaCon presentation debuted a new Doomsday trailer, while Spider-Noir is set to premiere on MGM+ on May 25, 2026 and globally on Prime Video on May 27 with all eight episodes available in both black-and-white and color. Nicolas Cage stars as Ben Reilly / The Spider, with the series also featuring Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Li Jun Li, and Jack Huston We’re also reacting to Coyote vs. Acme, the movie Warner Bros. shelved and Ketchup Entertainment rescued for theaters. Directed by Dave Green, the film stars Will Forte, John Cena, Lana Condor, P.J. Byrne, and Martha Kelly, and follows Wile E. Coyote taking legal action against the Acme Corporation over all those famously defective products. The new trailer finally gives a real look at the movie ahead of its August 28, 2026 theatrical release. And on the horror side, we’re checking out Evil Dead Burn, the next Evil Dead movie from director Sébastien Vaniček. The first footage and first-look coverage point to another brutal, bloody entry in the franchise, with the movie currently set for a July 24, 2026 release. So in this podcast episode we break down all the trailer reactions, first impressions, sequel potential, franchise connections, and what these projects could mean for Marvel, Looney Tunes, and the future of Evil Dead.
