Cabin crew stay in so many hotels that sometimes we forget which one we're at that day. Sometimes we even forget which destination we've flown to, waking up in a bed and having to think really hard about what you did the day before to discover which country or city you are in!
But what if you're out and about on your layover and need to get back to the hotel, and you forget the name. You're lost. And at 3am in Boston, that's not a good situation to be in.
