Spotted: Bart Bass may be dead, but apparently he still has plenty of ways to ruin Chuck’s life. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe are at the reading of the will, where Chuck inherits Bass Industries, Jack Bass starts plotting almost immediately, Blair gets played into throwing a party for Chuck, and Dan’s secret becomes the Upper East Side’s latest piece of gossip.
Chuck finally gets the thing Bart spent his whole life dangling in front of him, only to decide he doesn’t want it. Blair, naturally, refuses to let him throw away his inheritance and tries to convince him that Bart really did believe in him. Too bad Jack has already figured out exactly how to get Chuck off track, and by the time Blair’s surprise brunch rolls around, Chuck is doing drugs with prostitutes while the Bass Industries board watches in horror. And somehow, this is still not the most scandalous thing happening that day.
Because while Chuck is busy destroying his father’s legacy, Dan is desperately trying to keep Rufus and Lily’s secret from Serena. Unfortunately for him, Nelly Yuki and the Headbands are on the case, and once the truth about their love child hits Gossip Girl, there’s no taking it back. Add Rufus and Lily getting back into bed together, a suspicious story about their son’s death, and Blair finally realizing that Jack has been playing everyone, and this will reading turns into one very expensive disaster.
Bart left Chuck a company, a fortune, and one final test. Unfortunately, Chuck may have failed all three. XOXO.

Spotted: Chuck Bass is back from Thailand, and somehow he’s even more of a disaster than when he left. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe are getting into “In the Realm of the Basses,” where Blair decides she’s ready to graduate from high school politics and join the Colony Club, Jenny realizes she has enough dirt to take down the entire Mean Girl industrial complex, and Chuck calls in Uncle Jack to help him get his life, and Victrola, back.
Blair is trying very hard to move on from Chuck, which would be easier if Chuck weren’t back at Victrola, smoking hash at school, throwing parties, and generally making sure everyone knows he is absolutely not okay. Blair tries to save him, because of course she does, while Jack swoops in with his own very Bass-y idea of helping. Meanwhile, Jenny finally gets her hands on the secrets of Penelope, Hazel, and Isabel and realizes that maybe the fastest way to survive Constance is to become the person everyone is scared to piss off.
And then Dan starts pulling at the Rufus and Lily thread, which is about to unravel into a secret big enough to blow up both families. Plus, Blair’s Colony Club ambitions, Chuck’s rooftop breakdown, and Jack Bass being Jack Bass. Basically, everyone is lying, scheming, spiraling, or all three. Just another day on the Upper East Side. XOXO.

Spotted: Bart Bass is dead, and somehow the Upper East Side has still found time for secrets, romance, and a little emotional blackmail. On this episode of Your One and Only Source, Caroline and Phoebe dive into “O Brother, Where Bart Thou?”, where Chuck is spiraling after losing his father, Blair finally says the three words she’s been trying to avoid, and Lily’s past with Rufus threatens to blow up everything all over again.
The girls unpack Chuck’s grief, Blair’s heartbreaking attempt to stand by him, and the moment she finally admits just how much she loves him. Meanwhile, Serena is heading to Buenos Aires with Aaron, Dan is realizing that waiting around for Serena might not be an option anymore, and Lily is carrying a secret that could completely change the van der Woodsen family. Plus, Jenny is once again proving that she can somehow be the most functional person in the room while everyone else is falling apart.
And because no episode of Your One and Only Source is complete without a little personal chaos, Phoebe reveals that she currently has a mouse situation of her own, while Caroline, naturally, has mouse advice ready to go. Apparently, even after years of covering Upper East Side scandals, these two are now qualified to handle rodent relations.
