After a couple of bonus-style episode to fill the summer holiday gap, today's Sliced looks a bit more like our normal Monday episodes, but as it was pre-recorded you'll have to do without recaps of the weekend golf in Denmark, Memphis, in the US Amateur, on the LET and LPGA, and elsewhere. Still, there's much to get through as we catch up on a run of potential superstar champions on the PGA Tour and try to work out which if any will make the Presidents Cup, where the US picture is complicated. We talk about a close battle for Solheim Cup qualification and why one side should be favoured for that, and we think about Rory McIlroy's ambitions for 2027 and where the Ryder Cup sits. There's time to bring you up to date on LIV (albeit this was recorded before their Team Championship was cancelled, news that had been expected) and in particular, Bryson DeChambeau's claim that every single golf fan wants him back on the PGA Tour.
